Dr. Cynthia Hornback of Hornback Chiropractic and
Wellness, P.A. will be hosting a fundraiser for The
World’s Greatest Athlete Decathlon Club to help them bring
back the Gold medal to the United States.
These Olympic
athletes depend a great deal upon chiropractic care to
prevent injuries and reach a maximum level of performance.
Tom Pappas, decathlon club member who is the current 2003
World Decathlon Champion, declares, “I’m relying on
chiropractic care to help me bring home the Gold medal
from the 2004 Olympics.”
The World's Greatest Athlete Decathlon Club, a non-profit
organization, charged with the goal of sweeping decathlon
Gold, Silver and Bronze in Athens, Greece 2004 includes
Gold Medallist Bob Mathias, Bruce Jenner, Dan O’Brien,
Milt Campbell, Rafer Johnson and Bill Toomey.
Dr. Hornback says, “Our
office is really looking forward to giving something back
to the community. We love having this opportunity to give
our time and talent to people in exchange for their
donation that will help bring the Olympic Decathlon Gold
home to the United States.” The greatest athletes in the
world know and understand the importance of chiropractic
care and Hornback Chiropractic and Wellness is excited to
help sponsor the athletes in getting the proper training
and care they need to excel to their fullest potential and
show the world the great athletes of the United States.
"After six months in a Boston Brace my freshman year in
college for a fractured vertebrae, Orthopedic Surgeons
recommended surgery. I chose to see a chiropractor. Six
weeks later I was back on track, literally. I haven't had
a problem since," recalls Brian Brophy, Tom Pappas’ coach.
